I have no idea whether this Blue Monday thing has any scientific basis but given that it seems to becoming an excuse for more commercial exploitation, I'd guess not. I'd also have thought that the shortest day would cause more misery and SAD than a day when it's perceptibly getting lighter in both mornings and evenings.

Yay for BB sign ups! So wait though, if you're still SPN-ish, surely you should follow Reverse Bang (we're still going strong) and maybe you'd like to do something for quicky_bang? That's a fun thing to get your artistic juices flowing...

I failed to launch at reverse bang, and quicky bang is too quick. Honestly, the timelines for the regular big bang make me nervous, so...

Ha ha I suppose it depends when you snaffle a fic with the quicky - I mean if you chose one now you have a month and a half to do something, which is actually about par with SPN_J2BB, which gives artists very little time if you are unlucky and get an early posting date.

I've been lucky with spn_j2bb and have always had a reasonable posting date (although I usually get the art done for the rough art submission date anyway). I'll check out quicky and see if it'll work with my RL schedule ;)

Honestly, I wasn't a huge fan (love Zombie though). But I was young when they exploded on the scene and it was impossible for me to go ANYWHERE without hearing them, so... yeah.
