I'm not in the fandom, but I moseyed over for a read anymore and got instantly hooked! The illustration, like your fic, is memorable and haunting.

You're welcome! As my old fandoms have (for the most part) shriveled up like last summer's smushed mosquitoes, I do sometimes like taking a walk on the wild side and dipping into fic from unfamiliar fandoms. It's purely wonderful to strike it lucky and discover something I can appreciate as yummy despite my total ignorance of the original series/film/whatsit.

BTW I assume you've set your latest post (on fandom's mass abandonment of LJ) to no-comments for good reason, but I just wanted to say Good God, me too about absolutely bloody ALL of it.

Well, I'm still flattered ;)

Yeah, I just wanted to vent about LJ but not really invite anyone to pile on, ya know? (One of the nice things about still being here is being able to control my level of engagement post by post) There's a handful who still read this and I'm sure most would agree with me, so... *shrugs*

Happy New Year! I'm here until the wheels fall off because I WILL NOT break a decade's worth of art and fic posting links just so I can scramble, find a new platform for all of that content, and then re-establish all of those links. But almost all of my comms have disappeared and so many people fled but they didn't all land in the same place. It's sorta depressing. Not to mention that there are ZERO active comms in my current fandom on this site anymore. I'm not gaining any new readers because I can't advertise new works anywhere. /grumble.

Thanks for telling me you like the illustration. You've been doing quite well yourself lately. Are you gonna do a year-end round up? See what you achieved and such?

SPN is gradually subsiding too but I'm sticking with it. Dunno about a round up; I'd probably settle for getting my masterlist up to date!
