Time is running out for me to complete my picfor1000 entry this year and despite my best efforts, I think I'm going to fail to produce :( It's not that I haven't written something, it's that no matter how I edit it I can't get it to meet the 1000 word requirement. I've already cut out 700 words and am still 200 words over the limit. I just can't cut anymore ( Read more... )

I haven't read the story yet but maybe I or another beta reader could edit it down for you? Sometimes another pair of eyes sees things you didn't because you're too close to it. Just a thought!

I'm sorry it didn't quite work out BUT you still got a story out of it and that's the important part. :D

So far, I have nothing for the challenge but I remain hopeful.

Oh, I hope you vanquish your prompt. I'm glad that this year my problem was too many words instead of too few.
