I have been informed that today is More Joy Day. I suspect this to be a made up thing which is made up. But still... I could certainly use a break from the crushing amount of mind-numbing files I have to do at work this month, so here you go. Up with Joy!

One of my old grad school flatmates had a cat that would suddenly show up at your shoulder when you were feeling down and run his paws backwards and forwards over your head like he was petting you (he kept his claws to himself). It always made us feel better. :D

Orbit just worms her nose under your hand and then gently flips her head repeatedly until you get the idea to pat her. And if you're not into that, she'll climb up your body until she's staring into your face as if she can diagnose what's wrong with you and fix it with her eyeballs. That dog is adorable, but plain nuts.
