1. I'd like to be less predictable about this one, but my favorite character, hands down, is Reid. He's a fairly awesome super-nerd and I think he naturally appeals to anyone who's ever found themselves in a situation/career/life choice that is out of their comfort zone. I mean, there is NOTHING about him that suggests he should be in law enforcement. I also deeply dig his sartorial style ;)
2. My least favorite character is Gideon. There's something really grating about his particular brand of arrogance, and, after watching Mandy Patinkin in Homeland recently, I've decided it's him and not necessarily the character ( ... )

How about Penny Dreadful for a change of pace? I believe you said you were watching it. If I'm mistaken shout and I'll choose something else.
Congrats again on getting the WIPs finished. \o/
Also, yes, I'm always a bit mystified by the immediate demands for more although I mind less when they actually comment on the existing story and don't *just* demand more.

1. Hands down my favorite character is Vanessa. Eva Green is blowing everyone else's doors off on this show and it's hard not to be compelled by her fierce brittleness. Plus her dynamic with every other cast member is complete and unique. I think that after season 1 we're meant to pity her a little, but I don't. I think she's a fucking FORCE.
2. Least favorite character is Victor Frankenstein. He started out as a promising genius asshole, but now he's just a scared sap without any real understanding of his role in the group or how his actions will really effect anyone other than himself. In short, he's just like any typical late 20-something. How dull.
3. Dorian Gray is very pretty ;)
4. I don't really want anyone on this show. It's sexy and they are all fascinating, but I'm happy that I don't have any fantasies/fetishes here ( ... )

I love the show too but am also ship free. It's just rollicks along and always entertains me... all right, I did enjoy Dorian/Ethan kissing (shallow moi?) but it's still not a ship for me (canon pairings never are).
I haven't read any of the fan fiction but given my ship free status I was dead curious about what ship/s might have caught the fans attention. I was stunned to find out that the answer is Ethan/Victor.

I grinned BIG TIME at the Dorian/Ethan kissing scene *joins you in the shallow end*.

How about Watchmen?

1. Favorite character: in both the GN and the film, I'd have to say Dr. Manhattan. I mean, C'MON!, he's blue and all-knowing and naked...
2. Least favorite character: ugh, Laurie - Dan, could do Rorschach better. In fact both she and her mother are horrible representations of women in general, but Moore wasn't known for his great love of female characters.
3. The prettiest character is Matthew Goode as Ozymandias (blonde wig aside of course):

IA. I had a lot of issues with their storylines :/
3. YES.
4. Haha good answer! XP
7. Interesting! I haven't read enough of Moore's work to have an opinion on it in general, but I do agree that Watchmen felt a little... IDK, flat? I did enjoy the film, although I think it was, if anything, too faithful to the source material. It felt almost like the comic book was put to motion (although that did make for some amazing visuals!)
