Seventeen and a half of those apply to me.

And here I thought I'd become less introverted since college. ...Oops?

Honestly, I don't think that you grow out of behaviors like these - you just learn to manage them so that you can get along and not turn into a daylight-hating troll of some kind. I've always been crowd-adverse and pretty phone phobic. I also loooooove going to movies by myself or spending time alone, and I do get a little anxious before going out with friends no matter how much I like them. I used to worry about it a lot more, but now I just tell myself that I like what I like and it's not entirely my responsibility to conform to social norms. People oughta conform to me from time to time ;)

Oh yes! Going to the movies on my own = complete bliss.

I tend to think of myself as an extroverted introvert because I can make myself be the life and soul of the party while merrily grinding my teeth and having an internal dialogue that mostly consists of praying the ground will open and swallow me.

It's lovely to see a list of all my best, erm, worst habits, and know I'm not alone :D

I love seeing movies with my husband (it's our one real luxury), but when I was single I used to go to movies by myself all the damned time and loved it because I ended up having this incredibly personal experience in public and it just greased the gears of my creative engine, ya know?

I can force myself to be very extroverted when necessary, but my upper limit is about 4 hours. I mostly do it for work reasons. My Mum is exactly the same and it took me almost 20 years to recognize the behavior in her. *Blythe can be a bit dim*
