So you take a pic and then add the cool effects in photoshop?

Sometimes I just distort the image, sometimes I add in things that he wants from other photos that he's provided. Almost all of the photos have to be coloured-corrected despite being black and white to begin with. Some are faded, or copied from newsprint, or his scanner did something weird to them...
