My story, "Shaking Hands," was rejected by the Machine of Death, Vol. 2. I really, really, really wanted to get in. But considering they had almost 2,000 submissions and they only had room for 30 stories, that's not anything to feel bad about

Thanks, dear. I would have done many cartwheels of joy and performed a squee heard round the world had I got in, but oh, well. This is the writing life. :)

Ah, thanks! I would love to be in a volume three, but if they create a magazine or some other idea, that would be great, too.
