A Writer's Dream Life

Reading your entry is fascinating. For me, I don't dwell too much an alternate endings or a separate fan-fiction when it comes to books, movies, TV shows, etc. And when something resonates me strong enough, then yes, I do have mental puzzles. Most of the time though, I have mental puzzles when I have a phrase or a line of a poem and I play with them the entire night. Next morning, I'm exhausted. lol

If I have a line or series of sentences stuck in my head while I'm trying to sleep, I usually grumble myself into getting up and finding a pen and paper, so that I can write it down. Usually once I get the phrase down, I know it's safely recorded and so I can go to sleep.

And, yes, I slept much better last night. Thanks! :)

Unfortunately, sometimes I compose entire poems during deep sleeping periods like during REM, so I won't be able to wake up. Hehe. Once I wake up, I know I've written something in my sleep the night before, but I don't remember what it is!

Argh! That would make me want to beat my head against the wall.

Glad it's not me. (^_~)
