Of, course, I'm behind. It was inevitable. Anywho, here are the last few days I've missed, including today.
Day 04 - Your favorite show ever
Buffy the Vampire Slayer was the one that came immediately to mind. All time favorite is a wavering concept for me, altering constantly due to many factors such as mood, age, or inclination. But since the first thought tends to be the truest at any given moment, I'll go with that. Though X-Files, Farscape, and Cowboy Beebop are contenders, too.
Past all time favorites include Clarissa Explains it All, Saved by the Bell, and Full House during my middle/high school years, and My Little Ponies, Rainbow Bright, and Jem and the Holograms during my elementary school years.
Day 05 - A show you hate
Hmm. I don't really know that there's any show I could to point to as hating, in the sense that there isn't a show that would cause me to desire to damage the TV if it was on. However, I suppose the show that I could come closest to hating would be an of The Real Housewives shows and all its ilk.
It's not that I don't watch ridiculous reality TV; I do. Its that these kind of shows, which shows women obsessed with their looks, constantly engaged in backbiting, underhanded maneuvering, and general bitchiness, as well as being bad mothers, are the kinds of shows that make me a wee sick when they come on. I'm sure that there are women like this in the world, but they are not the majority. Or at least I don't see them around. And yet, there is the implication that these are supposed to be a kind everywoman, being "real housewives," and thus the suggestion that all women are like this. It goes beyond annoying to being offensive.
But to be fair, I've watched plenty of offensive reality TV, so I can't be judgmental (which I will mention on the "guilty pleasure" day for this meme). Instead, I'll just say that it's not for me.
Day 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
Since I listed Buffy as my favorite TV show, I'll have to say its a toss up between "The Pack" (season 1), "The Zeppo" (season 3), or "Restless" (season 4). Though there are tons of great episodes in the many seasons of Buffy, those are definitely at my top.
I love "The Pack" and "The Zeppo" because these are both Xander-focused episodes. Beyond the fact that they heavily feature my most-loved Xander, they are great episodes on their own. "The Pack" is a favorite, because it puts Xander in the kind of storyline that tends to appeal to me, namely possession and control, as well as being relevant to my own life. I had several friends during middle school suddenly, and for no apparent reason at all, turn on me, just as though they were possessed by a pack of hyenas.
"The Zeppo" is also a favorite for, to be redundant, Xander and his personal growth during the episode, as well as the creative use of narative format (the end of the world storyline is a side story to Xander's own) and the constant innuendos throughout.
"Restless" I love simply because of the poetry of the dream sequence, which lasted most of the episode. I tend to love uniquely handled stand-alone episodes more than myth episodes (X-Files also had quite a few of those), and I think it was gutsy to make a dream sequence inhabit an entire episode, and that it was incredibly well don.
Day 08 - A show everyone should watch
Farscape is a show that managed to put together incredible visuals with a fascinating collection of characters, a well developed world, consistently good to excellent story lines, with subtle, meaningful introspection about the nature of reality, what it means to be human, the shifting and malleable nature of family, and so much more. What makes it great is that this introspection comes naturally out of the characters and the plot of the episodes, rather than beating you over the head.
I think the only reason Farscape didn't end up as my "favorite show ever" is because I have only seen seasons 1 and 2, and bits from season 3. I'm still catching up between other shows that I'm currently hooked on, but the visual elements of this show alone with the beautiful scenery and the gorgeous character design makes this show a must see.

alg. I asked her if she knows what Day 7 is supposed to be. However, if you can come up with a TV-related topic that is not anywhere on this list, please present it in the comments as an alternate topic. I'm sure that you can come up with something infinitely more fun.
