Respect the Genre

I would like to point you in the direction of a most excellent post by yuki_onna, which points out that,
yes, Lost is a science fiction show, and that the producers blatant avoidance and disregard of this truth, has lead to the continued downfall of the show. As a whole it touches upon aspects of genre bias in general, and I think she makes a fair point

I stopped watching this after the second season. It stopped making any sense to me back then, and even after I tried again in season 4, after watching a few episodes, I gave up again.
