Yeah, it would have been nice to get it in, but ... *shrug* ... thems the breaks sometimes. In a way, it lightens my load. I've got a lot going on right now.
So I dated a Vampire...cherrylusciousDecember 21 2009, 17:55:35 UTC
Since I'm reading Breaking Dawn now, I thought that your lovely post was going to be some fictional twlight story.
But then as I recognized the futon in Dad's clinic, working in Hollywood Video, and the line “It’s just that I’m too in love with you. It’s too hard.” that I realize that this seems all too real.
Growing up, I've probably heard this story several times since I'm your sister and everything. However, I did not have the opportunity to get the full story. There were minor bits of the story left missing until now.
Its nice to finally hear the whole thing and your perspective once more. I'm sorry you got disqualified.
I don't know what happened to him after. The phone call where he broke up with me was the last time I'd seen or heard from him. I do hope he got his life together, though.
And thank you. I'm disappointed, too, though I'm kind of planning to keep following the prompt and playing the home game. So, I won't have completely disappeared. :)
They say that there's sometimes opportunities for people to get back in. Hopefully it can happen to you. To be honest, I didn't expect you to go anywhere for quite awhile...
I really loved this piece. I like the relationship the character (or you) have with this James person and I like the relief showed when things are over.
I also liked how detail-rich this piece it. It's nice to read. :)
Sounds like the character (you) are better off without James.
Thank you. And yes, I am certainly better off without him. It was a weird relationship with a weird guy. Still can't imagine why I kept it up as long as I did.

Very well written and held my interest the whole way through. I'm disappointed to see you go though. It's too bad this couldn't be counted anyway. :(

That would be very cool though, to be able to get back in the game. I will definitely be keeping my eyes wide open for the opportunity.
