It might be a while, but I'm steadily working on this. I'm really just trying to decide where I want the first chapter to start - like I said, I have all these pieces to fit together so I can do a few different things and I just want to see what works out the best.

Thanks very much. So glad you enjoyed it. This is kind of my "go-to" piece when I don't feel like working on anything else and I just have to fit together all these little scenes that take place in their lives together.

Thanks for taking the time to comment.

Loved this, and I'm excited to see how you explore the maturing/not maturing you mentioned. Also as an aside, I enjoy your long author's notes and hearing your reasons for different things. =)

Glad you're on board with the idea I have for this. I wasn't sure how it would come across. It always seems to me that if a writer doesn't put Rachel on Broadway they get panned; but, in reality...things don't always work out the way you planned. If it did, I'd be living in Manhattan, either working A&R at a label or working for Live Nation as the booking manager of one of their venues (thanks economy). I wanted to use this piece of show that sometimes plans change their initial outline, but if you keep your head on straight and you work towards your goal, you will either get it (later then planned), or maybe you'll get something better. Plus, I always thought Rachel's 'dream' of being on Broadway right out of college, slightly...ridiculous. It's like she doesn't realize that she's going to have to WORK for it. It won't just fall in her lap 'cause she's talented ( ... )

This was awesome. I cannot wait to go along this journey with you. I got married young as well (I was two days shy of my 19th birthday) so I can't wait to see these characters in these situations.

Journey is a very good word for this. I sort of feel like I'm writing two stories at once - on one hand we have the "present tense" which is the story itself. Then we have the flashbacks, which will probably be out of order, but will be used to explain things that are happening in the present and give more backstory ( ... )

I'm so sorry that you were cheated on. It's a special kind of hurt, the one that arises when someone you thought you could count on betrays that trust.

I can't wait for the ride. I do believe that you have something amazing on your hands.

You are great at the Future fics. I like how you show their maturity, and I really don't see it as OOC, because it seems ...I don't know if progressive is the right word, but you know, how the progressed to who they are now.

I like this so far, and I will patiently await the next installment.

I prefer the future fics 'cause I haven't been in high school in so long that I just don't connect to writing that. I also sort of hate their characterizations sometimes in canon (though that might have something to do with the continuity issues in said characterizations).

Glad you're enjoying this story so far. I'm steadily working on it; just trying to piece together the next part so everything makes sense in the long run.
