That's awesome. So much love for this chapter, it's stupid. Can't wait to see Rachel's past (is Jesse going to be there?). Somehow I think Terri could be the stalker, or maybe Lauren (a freaky idea that made me laugh was that Sue was it LOL). Glad you've updated!

Thanks for taking the time to comment; I'm so glad you enjoyed the update. I was afraid it'd feel too much like an information dump, but I manged to get it to flow.
I can absolutely state that Jesse won't be hanging around this story anywhere. Much as I do actually like him (though don't ship him w/ Rachel) there's no reason that she would have ever met him since she moved to DC at 14.
And I'll just let you wonder about the stalker for now. ;)

I smiled way too much while reading this. :) I just simply adore it. I love the "flirty banter," and the show their putting on for the cameras. Puck's back story. Awesome! The amount of thought you've put into this is amazing. And I can't wait to learn Rachel's back story and what lead her to become a bodyguard.

And Schue's borderline creepy obsession with Finn and tendency to overlook any good on Puck's part unless it serves his own purpose is basically canon documentation.

I was ripping my hair out as I was working on a logical timeline for Puck's past. Rachel's was 1000x easier since essentially for her I had a blank slate and could just say "Okay, so moved to DC...what do I want to have happen." For her all I had to take into account was her personality. For Noah, I didn't want to go too insane and remove too many people from the equation so I thought of all the characters that factored into Noah's life and realized that the most significant changes would be from moving Rachel and Santana away from Lima (or having them - in San's case - never be there).
A lot of times in AU's people will have Rachel not raised in Lima and then still have all the things that happened in Canon still happen - even though there's absolutely no reason why they would without her as the impetus. And I hate that, 'cause it's just sloppy writing. I hope you'll enjoy Rachel's past as much as Noah's. I have it all laid out I just have to turn a few pages of information into a formatted story.

Glad you enjoyed it. I like writing these two bantering 'cause they both have the temperament for it. If RM wasn't so gun-shy when it came to any form of puckleberry interaction (unless it drives his Finchel train) we could see so much more on the screen.

I seriously wish that RM would bring in some puckleberry. He said at one point during the first season that there would be more puckleberry but I haven't seen it except when Rachel kissed Puck after she found out Finn had slept with Santana.

Yea; but he said that before he realized that Puckleberry was a viable challenge to his personal psychosis (ie: Finchel). I mean, unless this is the greatest con ever pulled - RM doesn't seem to like Puckleberry. But sometimes with the plots and scenarios everyone gets into, the only character I actually think he likes is Finn (think about it - the worst thing to ever happen to him was the Babygate storyline. Nothing else so far has really happened TO him). Hey, maybe Ryan is Schue - here I was thinking all this time he was Kurt. *ponders half-seriously*
