What goes best with a nice Shiraz...sour cream and onion chips or barbecue? It seems to me the sc&o would go best with a nice white wine, but it's so hard to decide these things.

I agree. Definitely BBQ with Shiraz. You want a nice Kabinett with the SC&O.
