I've always loved Simon and would hate to start hating him now, so I'm trying to convince myself that he did it on purpose to get DCook more votes, but I'm probably just fooling myself.

No, unfortunately not. I live outside the US and couldn't install the gizmo thingy (pc issues), but I was up all night encouraging all the awesome people at the DCook community and sending positive vibes their way. :) I hope you at least were able to vote!
