I saw the title for today's entry on a sign outside a store on Bloor yesterday, and thought it was interesting.

Nothing much to report for me.
We had Sushi for dinner on Friday, (yum!) and saw Spiderman 3.

I actually thought it was half decent- I enjoyed myself.  Which is funny, because I'm not usually an action/summer blockbuster person, and I ( Read more... )

It was still better than all of Hayden Christiansen's scenes Star Wars! Now that's bad acting, and he wasn't the only one at fault.

Amen! to that!!

I don't know if I am going to go see S3 or not, but I am glad that you liked it.

oh bah ha, I agree Hayden Christiansen can't act a lick.
I do like Alfred Molina though, he is really awesome.
I agree with Jeannie, I am glad you liked it, I am however not planning to see it at all, not even when it comes on cable for free (yes, I am evil).

which game were you playing? :)

There are two- DOA 2, and the new burnout.

DOA2, the computer does some really cool moves when we're battling against it. I want to know how to toss my opponent ten feet in the air. The lists of moves for each character aren't specific enough for either of us to figure out which throw or hold we want- they're just lists. I also tried combining some of the buttons they tell us to, and I don't seem to have any different results.

Burnout-it seems every time we look something up, the definition includes more verbage we don't understand.

You can have a teenager take a look at it, or someone with the attention span of a teenager :) What are you playing?

see above!

Also, Sean tried to do the first "training" level of burnout, and we couldn't figure it out. The game kept stopping us to tell us what to do, but the message was an incomplete sentance.

Oh well. Well just have fun in the race mode. No skills needing, just crash into stuff, which is quite fun.
