What a coincedence,Monday was the Nissans w.o.f,which was a lot less troublesome than yours.I climbed out of bed at 07:15(after quite a lot of wine the previous day),made a pot of tea, took a cuppa to my loving wife in bed. Then loaded my mountain bike onto the back of the car, went back in the house, drank my cup of tea, then drove to the garage.....time taken 7 minutes.....cycled home....time taken 15 minutes.Waited all day for a phone call to say this or that needs fixing. The Nissan Bluebird is over 10 years old.....no phone call.....cycled back at 16:00.Approached Bluebird, pass certificate on passenger seat.....stuck my head in the office, nobody around, loaded bike on car, drove home.As I've been taking the car to the same garage for about 7 years,I know the bill will be in the post in due course.Dave, the garage owner,is a lovely man...and interesting.Don't you love N.Z. Sorry to hear about your M.O.T experiences. We are having a couple of dry nights bye-the-way.Love and regards from your old mate Bob....and the Icon(phone-lady)xxxx

Yes, I wish mine had been that simple. The actual MOT itself was fine. I needed a new headlight assembly (which I had guessed I would - I hit a deer back in the summer and it cracked the housing so I sort of expected it) but nothing else was needed - and they washed the car for me!) It was so good to get the phone call on Sunday, always special. Take care.
