New LJ friends

I seem to have gathered a few more LJ friends into the fold in the past couple of weeks and I am a bit behind in finding and dedicating photographs. I'm sorry that this is a bit of a bulk post but it did seem the best way to get a little more up to date.

I touched by your choice of picture-for-me. I appreciate deeply that decided to me this very picture, you've shown that we are kindred and allied souls. It very important for me to know, that somebody could understand me so profoundly.

My pleasure. I'm really glad that you like the picture and that we are getting to know each other on LJ. Please don't ever worry about your English. Part of my job is to understand unusual use of English, so I am an expert! Also, I have so many LJ friends who don't use English as a first language, I am just grateful that they use my language when they talk to me. But, as you ask, I will point out mistakes, though I don't think they will be important ones. :))

I think you are right, we are kindred spirits. I am delighted to know you and look forward to knowing you better.

Please tell me, how do you come to know Ilmera?

I met her here, in community for pregnant women. Unfortunatly, I'm not waiting for baby yet, but I want to become a mather very much. So, I read a couple of Ilmera's posts, felt drawn to her and added to my friends.
I think, she is very nice girl and similar to me.

Do you ever print out your photographs?
Are these photos that you've taken yourself or that you find on the net?

All my own work, if I went round finding pics on the net, I'm sure they would be much better. What's more, I don't have photoshop or anything like that, so they are exactly as I see them on my PC when I first download them.

If I can get some money together I would love to have some of them printed on canvases and mount an exhibition at a local Arts Centre or whatever. There are one or two printed copies of some of my pics around (my Swiss friend Rebekka has an enormous print of one of my photos on the wall in her flat) and I have just been meeting with a lady who lives near me who makes greetings cards. She is probably going to use some of my arty and local pics for that, which is quite exciting. I will be announcing that here on LJ when I'm sure it's going to be happening.

I'd love to have the one you chose for me printed out and mailed as a little postcard. :)
I could trade you a postcard from SF, but my photos aren't so great so it'd have to be someone else's image...

It's great that you've traveled all over and have such a nice record of everything. Good luck getting them with the greeting cards, etc, that sounds exciting! :D

Thank you, your endorsement means a lot to me. I will see what I can do about getting the pic I dedicated to you printed up for you. But please allow me to get past this ridiculously busy time of year out of the way!
