I can only imagine that the wrong box got ticked, and that the right box was close by. Having said that, I'm not sure what they meant to tick - 'invertibrate' perhaps? :)

Haha, nice! I often think of inventions or alterations to things that are already in existence that would make them better, but I never write them down, and they get lost forever! Even if I wrote them down, I likely wouldn't ever do anything about it, so it's no great loss (unless I passed the idea onto someone who would actually do something about it).

Yes, I'm the same. My world consists of me going, 'wouldn't it be good if.....', then almost instantly forgetting what it was. I'd be great at coming up with ideas for other people, and completely crap if I ever had to follow them through myself. :)

The thing I'd love to invent? Well, right now, I'd love to invent something like a raffle ticket booth for jobs. Like, you just rummage around in a box and take out a ticket with your (new) job's name and description on it. Bonus: you cannot draw a blank. There is something for everyone.
