Since I've been strolling down memory lane lately, this has been my favourite quote since I first read it in a book when I was about 10 years old, and it has never had more relevance to my life than it has now that I've started university:

OH MAN ERNEST GAINES. He's a pretty sweet author. I did my CPT in Gr 11 on a random book of his (it was an Oprah's Bookclub Book! HA!).
It is presque 2am. ;_;

i hate how other ppl expect so much from me but i also hate disappointing them - that's why i bother to try and keep up. but srsly, why does everyone always have to be the best? who decides who's best, really?

school as it is right now, isn't in its ideal form but i guess its up to us to make the most out of it.
