I lost my job this morning. For being sick too often. Cause, yeah I can help that. Whatever. I am starting to wonder if the general world has a place for a person like me. I get sick at least once a month. I have no control over it in the slightest. I have never been able to hold a job for longer than 7 months at a time before they have had enough

Good gods! WTF is supposed to be the average? You're saying once a month is too much? WTF??? I actually am proud of myself for having managed to only call in sick once per calendar month so far this year.
I would recommend that you join my company then. Because of the Union, so long as you make it past the... 3? month probation period they cannot fire you. And you can go home after you have started your workday if you feel like you're dying.
Then again if you can get away with staying home you could just work from home. Make costumes or websites or grow seedlings or something. Sounds SOOOO much nicer. And you are right, rent is murder right now.
