Someone did need to tell Gibbs that. I like how you've tackled the way they see each other. Gibbs will never see Tony as anything other than a son, and Tim to Tony will always be Probie (even when he's director of NCIS or something)

yeah the guys do tend to be pretty stubborn in their views. but there is going to be more and somethings will change :)

*sniff* Great story! It's good to see Tim as intuitive and standing up for himself and Tony. I like the UST between the three.

This is a heartbreaking piece of writing. The story works so well and is very natural, and the ust, although the main theme, does not just jump at the reader with teeth and claws, but is unfolded in a beautiful and sad way. It was a great pleasure to witness the characters being in character throughout the story. I specially like how you wrote Tim as strong and upright, and that he doesn't bathe in the self-pity that too often comes with ust fic, but is trying to do what he thinks is right and best for Tony instead. "Heart of a lion," comes to my mind.

In short, I enjoyed reading your story very much and must definitely come back for more of your fic. I hope my lenghty feedback is not unwelcome--sorry for being a wordy person :o)

Wow, that really tugged at my heartstrings!! I liked McGee's "tiny backbone", lol! Is this a one-shot, or the start of something longer?
