So this week I'm finally taking on the first real project in the new home. The upstairs bathroom HAS to be done. The wallpaper amused me for a few weeks but then the novelty wore off and I wanted the room redone. I can deal with the coral and turqouise tub/trim but the pink damaske type wall paper(even the ceiling-WTF?!) has GOT to go

Haha - I know. My dad literally cringes each time he walks into it, but according to mom he had a similar situation in one of their first places so guess it's bad flash backs. Scary thing is that in the basement 1/2 bath the toilet and sink match colors upstairs and AGAIN there they have pink curtains(thank goodness walls are simply white there). Thinking one of them was partially color blind to have the same mismatched colors in both bathrooms!!

Definite yay for garden, first thing to go in will be greens(spinach and chard) because should come up in the spring if stays warm. I am doing some window herbs now to plant later, hoping the deer don't like lavendar.
