Merlin really hits its stride at about the seventh episode, "Gates of Avalon". AND THINGS GET LIKE 39204024 MORE AWESOME AND DRAMATIC, SERIOUSLY.

Yay you watched Merlin! There are SO many good episodes left. It really improves later on. WATCH IT lol.

I kind of enjoyed the Christmas special. With Doctor Who you can't enjoy it unless you like its crackfilled campyness.

maybe it's just me being a cranky old man, but I like it when stories actually make sense :P The whole way through I was just thinking "what's going on? WHY ARE THERE CYBERMANMONKEYS?"

However, I don't think I emphasised in the main post how much exactly I fell in love with Mercy, so having her die (TWICE!) at the end wasn't the best thing ever :/

And also I've found that usually the episodes I end up loving, I hate at first. So me not liking this episode at all right now could very well end up being a positive thing :P

nah, I always have intentions of going to the gym, but I haven't in years :/ Work has been somewhat physically demanding recently though. Lots of mopping and scrubbing and such.

4. I haven't seen any of the ads, but I'm not surprised. I don't think I could've been able to find 20 decent seconds to entice people in with, either. :P

Well my family wanted to see it and the plan was to have dinner out afterwards so I was kind of forced into it :/

Oh, I've been hearing a lot about Taylor Swift (on peoples 2008 lists of awesomeness mostly) and I was wondering if you could direct me towards her best few songs, because I know you like her and I just want to check 'em out :)
