I've missed reading good fanfic, so I was overjoyed when I came across an email alert for this story.

I've never been much for space-themed work, but now I know it's because of my own ignorance. Space is so full of wonder and mystery, and you've conveyed it well through your fic! As the previous commenter said, there's a "dark" and "ethereal" feel to this, and it's something I never expected to encounter in a space-themed fic.

I never thought I'd be writing space-themed fic and I have to admit, I still know next to nothing about the genre, but it lends itself so naturally to One Piece-- adventure, discovery, wonder and mystery, like you said-- that this was relatively painless to write. "Dark" and "ethereal" are some of the highest compliments I've ever received, and I'm more relieved than anything that it came across that way instead of "same old, same old."
