I was also tagged by dickgloucester to name six fictional characters beginning with "F", explaining why I've chosen them. It turned out to a lot harder than I'd expected! I really had to wrack my brain for "F" characters, particularly ones that I like.

My niece is much better after having faced that first day. I feel so happy and proud for her.

Tomorrow will be... heh, probably not fantastic, but in a way, I'm eager to be back on campus. I'm sure that will change after I get reminded of all the thousand irritations of life there, but I'm also excited to dig in.

Glad you approve of the F's! I couldn't leave out Firenze and call myself a Harpy, could I? I can't believe I forgot about Frinke, though! I was trying to think of a Simpsons character that would fit, but my mind couldn't summon on. I do like him, nasal voice, thick glasses and all.

She's really feeling much better for having taken that first step. Of course, she'd built up all those fears in her mind, so of course the reality was bound to be less scary in comparison, but I did let out a sigh of relief to hear that it all went well.

I'm really very proud of her.

~hugs~ They're really much better now that she's done the thing that worried her the most. That dread and anticipation are almost always worse than the reality, you know? I feel so relieved to know that she already knows some of the girls, too.

Speaking of starting school, I hope your classes are going well so far. I'll be off in just a bit to campus to kick off my semester.
