PSOH Drabble Round-Up 2

So, as I am trying to get my fest fics squared away and my other commitments covered, it seemed to be a good time for some bits of spring cleaning, including posting another batch of Pet Shop of Horrors drabbles here, for reference. It's been a while since the last time I posted some of these, I think; a set of HP drabbles will probably be coming ( Read more... )

I loved your drabbles! They really make me want to get back to writing some Petshop fic--if only lupin_snape and Snapedom would stop having so many challenges! ;)

I think my favorites were A Simple Diversion, because I used to have a cheap toy kaleidoscope when I was kid, and it made me feel all nostalgic; and Coitus Interruptus because it was so funny. The last line just cracks me up: "Grown-ups were so weird sometimes."

Oh, and now I have a craving for chocolate cupcakes, and it's all your fault! ^_^

Ooh, I didn't mean to awake a craving! I have to admit, though, that the picture does look awfully tasty. I can offer you a recipe that can be used for chocolate cupcakes, though! Guinness Stout Chocolate Cake.

Thank you for your kind words! I'm so glad you enjoyed the drabbles. I'd gotten away from writing PSoH for a little while, but lately, I've been writing more again. The psohdrabble comm has had some good prompts lately, so that's helpful.

I had a little toy kaleidoscope when I was a kid, too, so that was my inspiration. *g* I'm glad you like "Coitus Interruptus,'" because that's actually my favorite out of this set! It's so fun to write from Chris' perspective, because he notices a lot of things, but he doesn't quite understand them.

I love these little doses of PSoH! Chris interrupting the two was adorable. And I think the one featuring the bakery goods has bunnied me...

Thanks! It's a fun universe to drabble in. It's especially fun to write from Chris' perspective, because there's such a gap between what he sees and what he actually understands.

I think the one featuring the bakery goods has bunnied me...

That one sentence makes me very happy! :D
