She shares a birthday with Severus and claims to like anything I bake, so I need some help whittling down the choices. She doesn't mind sharing the spotlight with Snape; she accepts and, god help me, encourages my strange obsessions. In fact, this was her idea in ( Read more... )

I'm doing the chocolate cake, dude! And I love cheesecake/I love Severus. An equation of some sort there, I think.

You love cheesecake about Severus, perhaps? But then, who doesn't love that?

I also love cheesecake. It's one of my favorites! My grandfather taught me how to make it, and I still use his recipe for reference.

As you can see from my comments, I'm a glutton. The more cake, the better. ;)

Well, obviously! Maybe I should just fill the house with cakes and take pictures for Snapedom, hmm? ;-)

Also, there's no reason why I can't make a cake combining these elements: a chocolatey, coconutty, nutty combination!

I say german chocolate cake...complex and tropical with a side of nuts!!! Or Boston cream pie, yellow cake, chocolate frosting and a lovely yummy custard cream filling (remind you of anything else?!)!

Mmm, I do love a good German chocolate cake! And the Boston Cream Pie sounds like something that Remus would make for Severus, especially when it involves suggestive custard filling. ;-)

Or you could combine two loves and do a chocolate cheesecake? Though, actually, I love chocolate and cheesecake, but don't like them as much combined.

So - your choice!

~nods~ I always had in mind that several of these could be combined in various ways, so that's an option. That's why I went for the ticky boxes, so that people could choose more than one option.

Chocolate cheesecake can be very good, but I have to admit that I prefer the chocolate as a topping on the cheesecake, rather than the primary flavor. Does that make any sense? *g*

Is there a cake or pudding that uses red wine? That's about the only thing we know he takes into his body. Here's to the Dark Lord Severus!

True! And I do seem to recall a recipe that used dark chocolate and cherries in addition to red wine. Then again, I can always serve a glass of blood-red wine to accompany the cake!

~raises glass~ To Severus!
