Great minds think alike! Or maybe it's the weather that's causing the Snape/ice metaphor thing?
:D You know, when I clicked on your latest installment and saw the man chipping away at all that ice, I had exactly the same thought! Possibly it's the weather (it's been snowing almost every day), but I think I really do see Snape as frozen and in need of a good thaw. That's why I was all excited about that dream sequence!
Lovely story.. it makes me want to put on some hot chocolate and curl up with the rest of it!

He is being rather pouty here, but he's also depressed and feels awkward and unwanted. I picture this as taking place post-DH, where he's not quite sure how (or if) he fits into a postwar world.
But Sinistra gets that, and she won't let him wallow. ;-) Actually, there's a little continuation of it in this set, towards the end. I wrote it for another Christmas Card!
