Yay purple fingernails! I have blue toenails at the moment.
We still have a few more days of classes, but finals loom -- as does freedom not long afterward. I have a stack of papers awaiting me right now, so of course I'm going to go read some fanfic.
Like you, I'll be snarling and grumping in a week or so, but we'll get over it /g/.
Thank you! I shall need those positive thoughts at some point, definitely. *g*
And that dance is just astounding. I can't fathom the kind of energy needed to pull that off the way they do! Lindy Hop is exhausting at any time, but they're really throwing themselves into it here.
Must admit, I loved teaching, hated grading papers. It made me wonder why I didn't assign a grade for each step and throw them down the staircase saving me hours of work for the same distribution of grades.
I'm glad you enjoyed Ivan the dancing bear! That bit is from The Mighty Boosh. Ivan is, apparently, a big Gary Numan fan. ;-)
And oh, how I sympathize. I've heard similar sentiments, definitely. Teaching has its rewards, but grading... well, its biggest reward is just being over, once you've powered through it. *g*

Good luck for the impending finals (and the grading). I thoroughly sympathize with the drive to go read fanfic right now.
And yes, we will get over it. After a few cathartic grumps, of course. *g*

In the spirit of dance parties, here's the best (and most high energy!) swing dance from a movie ever:
