The last several days have been hectic, particularly yesterday, and there have been a few more frustrations and setbacks than usual, notably the fact that car problems on Monday meant I had to miss my lunch with PJ (~cries~) and a lot of Tuesday was lost to a sinusy migraine

Ah, can you? Is it time to activate that Kitchen Portkey? ;-) I think you'd like these, though. The tangerine zest gave it just the right zing, and they make the whole house smell like Christmas.

I love cats! Saw my aunt's cat today and all he wanted to do was sleep! My cousin's cat was a different story, she wanted to play!

Finally finished shopping today and town was busier than usual. I guess because the snow storm we're going to get tomorrow night!

I am a definite cat lover, and I spoil my boys. But they probably deserve a bit of spoiling in compensation for me making them do undignified things like wear funny hats and dance to Lady Gaga. ;-)

Oh, there's nothing to get people out and panic shopping more than a potential snow storm. I've seen stores around here actually sell out of milk and bread before anticipated heavy snow! This weekend is supposed to be snowy for us, but no major storms... which is actually sort of perfect.

Thank you! It really was a joyous time, even more than I'd hoped it would be, and I know my uncle really enjoyed it. I could feel her presence there last night, but in a very happy way. I think it's safe to say that this will be a new tradition. :D\
