Oh, yes, totally agree, both about the lightness and the need for some seasoning; the wrong repertoire could ruin him, which would be a shame. He seems to be specializing in Donizetti (judging by the clips), though a quick scan of Youtube shows that he's done La Traviata and La Boheme, as well. I'm curious to see how he'll develop.

~hugs~ I will catch up on the sleep this weekend! Thank goodness for those, hmm? And the day turned out to be a very good one. I was lucky. :-)

Yeah, I wibbled about the rehearsal vid because of that, but I do love that aria, and I couldn't resist. And I was, perhaps, amused a great deal by her t-shirt and cancan ensemble and his jeans and sword scabbard. *g*
