No, that isn't the motto of Hufflepuff House. (Although it should be.) Those are words of wisdom from Sleep Talkin' Man. I saw him and his wife on the news this evening, and... well. Laughed a lot. ~grins~ I did think of you. His sleep self seems to have a certain fixation on badgers ("Badger petting? Proceed with caution."), and I have to admit that some of them would probably make very good Hufflepuff icons.

Hehehehe. My dad (who is extremely kind, gentle and NEVER rude) used to belittle his secretary in his sleep. It amused and frightened my mother by turns.

~grins~ I can see how it would! Your dad was probably mortified to find out what he'd been saying. Part of the amusement value is the fact that the sleep talking seems to be attached to a personality that's really, really contrary to the way the person normally behaves!

You're more than welcome! This was much too good not to share. I think I scared the cats, I laughed so loudly at some of his better quips.

Some of the insults are a Snapey, aren't they? Though I don't know if Snape has such a pronounced dislike for lentils. ;-)
