i realize that now that the baby is getting closer (oh my gosh!) that i post much more in my pregnancy journal than i do here. forgive me for neglecting you bluestars journal
( Read more... )
will you tell me a little bit about your relationship to God? did you grow up believing? or did you develop the faith later in life...?
i'm kind of on a faith-quest, and curious about people's stories...
and if you feel like it's God that helped you through a tough week--that's an amazing testament, and something i want to learn about. i don't have God to help me through tough weeks, but i do have my mom, who lives 3,000 miles away and is accessible by phone. though one day she'll die and then what? i'm curious.
i grew up in the church and ive got an extensive christian heritage. not that those factors make one a christian whatsoever. so i became a christian at around age 9 BUT i didnt fully commit to living my life for God until i was around 19 or 20, which is when i really consider my relationship with God to have begun.
i think that part of my Walk is opening up my eyes to the small things that i feel God is doing. im a hardcore optimist (one of my greatest assets and curses). its a blessing to be able to find good in all situations, that to me is how God works. just as no person is wholly good or bad, no situation is either. my heart just has a new logic and my eyes have renewed vision to see a bigger picture sometimes i feel. my life doesnt matter compared to advancing God's kingdom to the world. my grandpa for example lived that way. a life of service.. i hope i can do even a fraction of the good that he did for the Lord.
My baby is measuring a lot bigger than what he should be, but my OB doesn't find it necessary to change my due date. He says that I'm just going to be having a larger baby. I need to ask him my measurements next time, that'd be interesting to know!
has your dr been measuring your fundal height or checking by u/s? or both i guess..? some people just have big or small babies. theres nothing abnormal about them of course.
