I so want to make this

Found out from the doc that I have high cholesterol. This is the doc that can't draw my blood to save her life, and ended up taking it out of the top of my hand, resulting in several pinpricks and a bruised top of my hand. They told me to stop eating fast food and they wanted to see my in four months. Aside from a pizza I  ( Read more... )

It may end up that way - or at least a variation. At least I can still have pho. And I did go to Ruby's on Sunday anyway and ate fried chicken livers covered in Tabasco...mwahahaha!

Yeah, I know smoking isn't good for blood pressure, so I wouldn't be suprised that it is bad for cholesterol levels either.. Actually, I know it's not good at all, but it's a heck of an addiction to kick.

at your age, i'd be more inclined to think that high cholesterol is hereditary. ask your family, your md sounds like a quack. let me know if you need help finding a better doc in town...

It's definitely hereditary. My cousin (who is 31) has high cholesterol. My mother does. And my grandmother, who practically eats vegetarian does. I told the doctor its probably hereditary, but they insist I go on a diet (which I am having only middling success with).

And I could totally use some help with finding a new doc. I went to the same one for years, but she moved to Oklahoma, and not one of the close parts either, which is why I went to this new doctor. And I am definitely not going back.
