Cool ride, I don't think we have these in the UK - probably because we don't really have the weather :(
Is that hood manual or automatic out of interest?

Thank you :-) It's a 2000 Cabrio GL...basically a convertable version of the Golf. I dunno if you guys would have them or not, but I'd be suprised if you didn't.

Texas is great in the winter. I've spent the day in a tank top with the windows in the apartment wide open, enjoying the sun. It's actually summertime that I stop driving around with the top down, just because to put the top down in the summer feels like riding around in a hair dryer.

It's a manual. It has a couple of handles that you lack down and hoist the top back. It's a little tricky for one girl to do, annoyingly, but I figure it's one less part of the car to break. Manual transmision as well.

ok ok - don't rub it in :) It's about -5 outside and despite the (useless) heating being on I'm freezing my nuts off and can't seem to get to sleep; we seriously need to move somewhere warmer!

Hehe.. you're probably better at it then I would be :)

Oooh brr! -5 is quite cold, and you're right, after a point, the heating sometimes doesn't seem to do the job. Dylan and I are trying to figure out where we want to move after we're done with Texas, and we discussed going to Madison, WI, but I just don't think I could deal with any place that cold, especially after growing up in Texas.

Perhaps. The key is find buddies to ride around with and enlist their help when it comes time to put the top back up. :-P

pretty car. And I don't think I've mentioned this, but I LOVE your ass-shaking icon!

Thank you, and thank you again! It's from the Gorillaz video for "Feel Good" which is a very catchy song (and very ass-shakin').

I love the Gorillaz! They're so cute, for animated critters.
