Indeed. Thankfully, Frankenpussy isn't nearly as pink and icky looking as she used to be. Blah.

Belly button scar is still quite pink, though.

Belly button scar is hot. That one isn't allowed to heal.

I'm thinking about getting my belly button pierced. Not around the scar, mind you, cause that would hurt like hell, but I like plain belly button rings (no sparkleys though!). Sometime when I have money, har har.

The belly button hurt for a while afterwards, belly buttons are tender! Strangely, the other small scar (on me its about 2 inches up and to the side of my left hip bone) hurt even more, even though it was a teeny tiny incision, and you can't really see the scar anymore now unless you are looking for it. The belly button is still pink and a little puffy looking even though it doesn't hurt, and Frankenpussy has thankfully faded in color, though it's still pretty obvious and a dusty rose color.

I feel fine aside from the occasional ghost ovary pain, and you are right, it's strange thinking about that time.

I too am of the mindset of "Let me keep the rest of my goods till I hit menopause and then take it all out." My mom was about 50ish when she had her hystorectomy. When my mom was 32, I was still two years in the making. I was under the impression you didn't want to have kids, though, unless I'm mistaken.

I have the misfortunate and annoying quirk that if someone pokes me in the belly button with any force at all, it makes me want to pee. Without fail. No idea why. Needless to say, I hate being poked in the belly button, and people always want to poke me in the belly button because I have a freakishly deep navel. Bad combo.

I do, thankfully, feel much better. Lefty is behavingly wonderfully, and I should be able to have kids no problem, whenever that comes up.
