I think those detective stories Komachi has been reading have gone to her head. We misplaced a cake that we had all been planning to share, and she decided she was going to solve this mystery and started accusing everyone. She even dressed up, as you can see:

I'm not going to tell Komachi she can't be a detective.

It's not like it's her new lifetime goal, anyway. She just gets overexcited sometimes.
