Azula in fact showed up less than thirty seconds after their conversation had ended.

"I knew you'd see things my way eventually. Now, the necklace."

Karen sighed, stood, and held her hand out with the necklace, still holding on to it.

"I'll let go when I see Midori-san."

Azula made a show of rolling her eyes. "Oh dear, are we back to this again? No."

"I have to be sure you won't just suddenly disappear before we get there."
