Goodbye and good riddance to 2009. While there were some good moments, the last half has truly been a nightmare and I cannot wait to get past it.

And that begs the question...

Personally, I think they both sound kind of awkward, although I'll probably go with "twenty ten." I don't know. It's a weird number.

So, happy New Year and stuff.

Weird Vancouver vocal quirk I've noticed: twenty-ten when talking about the 2010 Winter Olympics, two-thousand-ten otherwise.

at work found it easier to say the long way two thousand and ten thru the radio..cops are easier to understand. So thats what I have got in the habit of saying. Even though like twenty-ten a tad easier. But for a while now..been having to say two thousand and ten, so guess that will stick with me. Cause I am horrible with "twenty" when it comes to my speech...
