Oh geez...I dunno. I use a LOT of the no-salt seasoning (hint, you can get it at Big Lots under the name "No-Salt Seasoning" and it tastes EXACTLY like Mrs. Dash, but is a bigger container and at a fraction of the cost. I looked at the ingredients and they are exactly the same.) Anyway, I use a ton of it, and a good bit of garlic powder, because those are two of my faves. Also, a pretty fair amount of oregano. Not so much of the cayenne, cumin or ginger, because the Rotels are already pretty spicy and too much of those spices would make it unbearably hot. I guess just season until it tastes right to you? That's pretty much how I cook. If you like something, use more of it, if you're not sure, use less? :-) I cook very much by how things look and taste, not by actual "recipes ( ... )

Granted , he would love it , if I did make it unbearably hot.....::shaking head::: But than again, I am the one who got on the wall of Flame at our fave pepper palace store, for eating the world's hottest horseradish ( i am addicted to it now!):) He is slowly rubbing off on me with the hot stuff, I got jalapeno powder that I use when I eat pizza or something like that (he has habanero powder that he puts on EVERYTHING, I got him some scotch bonnet powder for Christmas ( ... )

I thought you said you could handle chickpeas? And the tomatoes cook up until they're not really recognizable as tomatoes.
