FF7 Citadel Wackiness of the Week
Yesterday, it came to light that original Final Fantasy VII, along with original Final Fantasy VIII, would be two of the launch games for a PSOne emulation service for PSP owners. Good news, certainly, especially if you have a PSP and are into those (and other) PSOne games.
Naturally, this interesting (and most likely legit) bit of news was posted to the front page of the Citadel (thank you again, Seb!).
So what's the first comment on the post? This one, by someone named Honourless:
Square Enix has not stated that Final Fantasy VII would be released on the PS3. It was at E3 that they made a teaser demo of the game, when people speculated that the demo was giving hints that square enix would be releasing a newer version of the game. However, they have not publically stated that they would be releasing the game.
I felt like I was back on Slashdot.
Fortunately, I wasn't the only one who noticed. The third post, by TheRage800, calls it out:
Umm, Honourless, what's your point?
Fun stuff. Gotta love people who don't RTFA ;)
(Oh, and like the new icon? It's probably been done before, but hey, I was inspired. I really must upgrade this account to a paid one sometime, so I can easily choose between all of the icons I've made...)
