Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon is good so far, though the second dungeon kicked my ass twice before I kicked it's. As with Chocobo Tales, one of the best parts is all the remixed classic Final Fantasy music; there is tons of love for FFVIII

That OST does sound pretty badass. I had once intended to grab the OST for Chocobo Tales too, but forgot somewhere along the way.

Was the Chocobo Tales OST ever released on CD? I seem to recall looking for it at one point...

Ahh, there's one for the game and its sequel (a game which I wasn't aware of until now).
