Title: Here (Reeve Edition)
Fandom: Final Fantasy VII
Characters: Reeve
Rating: PG-13
Warning: Partial nudity, possibly NSFW
Description: Probably the sexiest Reeve I've ever done. I shit you not XD

I got packages today via UPS, the USPS, and FedEx. The first contained those storage supplies I ordered earlier, and the third was a pair of hard-to-find toys (that Shinji and Kaworu set I mentioned before, and a much rarer FFX-2 Heretic Bahamut huge-ass action figure) from a comic shop in Canada. The second was the one that came via the Postal Service, came from the farthest away (Hong Kong). and took way longer than it should've to get here (twenty-one days). Plus I had to go to the post office to pick it up ("final notice", wtf?!). Yep, it was my Play-Asia order with a handful of Japanese DS Lite accessories and a soundtrack for a DS game. Namely, the soundtrack for Subarashiki Kono Sekai, aka It's a Wonderful World.

I listened to it tonight while finishing up the fanart linked above. It's a tough soundtrack to describe, but I'll try. It's like what would happen if Milk Can got in the studio with Hideki Naganuma (but not with Sonic Team's usual recording staff), and Jun Senoue chose to hang out there on and off during the recording sessions. It's not as bombastic fantabulous as the likes of Naganuma's Sonic Rush OST, but it's good, and not quite like anything else I've ever heard before, and certainly not from Square Enix (and yes, I am taking the Bust a Move/Groove OSTs well into consideration here).

namatamiku, you'll definately want this one. As for the game itself, the chances of it coming out in English look rather slim these days (due to the propensity of Japanese gamers to prefer the upteenth million DQ/FF spinoff over original Squeenix works... not quite unlike gamers elsewhere, actually), so importing it is an option I'm considering even more now...

ETA for an observation: The last time I wrote about Subarashiki Kono Sekai, that entry was also accompanied by a fanart posting. Hmm...
