Time to Use the Christmas Blinkie

Sep 30, 2009 07:22

I am tired, my hair looks like I went to Medusa for a style and my laundry pile is volcano-esque but my epic week of dog rescue overload is finally calming down and I am finally able to relax and enjoy the gifts in it.

To clarify, I do not have 15 dogs in my house so please do not bother the police with calls of concern ha! The puppies, the momma, ( Read more... )

Satire and nonsense all you want... but don't stop pictures of cute puppies!! :)

And Jagger has some of the most beautiful coloring I've seen in a dog. Those eyes with that fur? He deserves glamour shots!! :) Wish I could adopt him. Sadly I am in a no dog apartment. But I've warned honey... the second we get a house, we're getting 2 dogs. I know of Bulldog and Basset rescues not far from us and I want one of each. I found the bassets do better in packs and I've always wanted an English Bulldog. :) We'll see what happens... since the house is so far away still.

As long as you get a rescue! That's the main thing. I hope you get your house SOON! I love basset hounds. I once chased a basset up 1-95 in Miami then I caught him and took him home. Of course I called him Freeway and then I adopted him out to a nice family. He was awesome.

Jagger has got to be one of the most gorgeous dogs I've ever seen...Wow! He's beautiful!

Those pups look like they're having one helluva time...I just smile, thinking about all the playful bite-facing that's going on in that stall all day!

And April? Well, that pup looks like she will be the most loving dog ever.

I will never understand the misconceptions people have towards this breed.

You know what one of the things about all this that makes me the happiest? Those puppies are going to good homes and are never going to know the horrors that so many of these other dogs have endured. They will have long and very happy lives, which all dogs (and cats) deserve.

I so agree with you. Animal cruelty makes me sick to my stomach; I just can't wrap my mind around the horror of it all. To me, it's right up there with child cruelty...Even if they are "just animals". My animals are my babies, too, and I'd have a house full if I could manage it!

Those puppies are going to find good homes so Mr. Fausone doesn't put me on a plane for Rochester.

:) They are SO cute! Little ankle biters tried to kill my shoes and my pants, too. Beasts.
