SWEET JESUS!! I just read every single word of that, and I feel for you! Holy Christ! First of all, I have to commend you for the extreme patience it must take on a daily basis just to work in a place like that. Much less for a Bar Mitzvah!

Just reading your story made me want to chop those children in tiny pieces and feed them to hungry lions. Without remorse!!!

Well, I'm glad you survived it! :) It proves you're a hell of a waitress. :)

Thanks, Angie. The moral support is much appreciated.

And really, please feel free to carry out the aforementioned lion-feeding. No one will miss them.

I was only getting $8.50 an hour for it - our banquet rate when you're a Bala employee is crap. Very little tip. Usually I get $4. 50 an hour, plus 20% off the entire bill, when I'm waiting tables in the dining room, which is totally worth it when you consider that a typical 4-top orders over $125 in food/drinks.

Best. Idea. Ever.

(And really, it would not shock me to know that there are bodies in the sand traps at Bala.)
