...I've barely started my entry, and the fast-approaching deadline is terrifying me. I know where I want to go, but the trouble is getting there... but I'm still so excited for the other entries!

They say as long as you know the beginning and ending you can easily navigate all the points in between, and make up the rest as you go.

I'm not sure how valid that advice is, but it sounds maybe possibly legitimate. At any rate, I wish you the best of luck with your entry, Mary! I'm sure it'll be quite the enjoyable read. :3
