Oh yes! It was very rainy yesterday. Super rainy. LIKE THE FLOOD. I had to whip out the umbrella and rainboots so books and paperwork wouldn't get drenched while walking to class. Then later when I was driving around... this song popped up on the radio, and I thought it was the perfect song for such weather.
But the song wouldn't work for today. Because today is bright, and sunny, and breezy, and beautiful. I even have the screen door wide open so that Springtime loveliness can come inside. <3
We~ird! Good thing you weren't caught out in it and was able to prepare instead. The song was fun, thanks for sharing~ ♥
Honestly, I hate weather that does a complete 180 degree turnaround! >.<; Obviously, it's always good that the sun comes out, but from FLOOD-LIKE RAINS to BUTTERLIES ARE FLYING AROUND UNDER THE SUN in 24 hours? I always found that a bit freaky in the "totally not prepared" sort of way.
Haha. I do like the cool breezy weather that comes after a good storm, but it's definitely confusing when it comes to deciding what to wear for the day. The weather always starts out super cold here then gradually warms up until it gets nice and toasty in the afternoon.
So I spend the days walking down the street and stripping off clothes. Toss a jacket here. Throw away some socks there. Ripping off shirts and pants and switching to tank-tops and shorts. IT IS... BURDENSOME. *puts on sunglasses*
I don't know what it is with voices/songs like these that make me just listen to it over and over. Did you know I listened to this song repeatedly, 5 times in a row now? XD
Cake is one of my favorite bands. I'm not so crazy about their latest album, but I think this new song of theirs is super good. Like in a strange way, it's so melancholy and fun at the same time.
