Well, you already know how I feel about it. I think taking an AU fic and converting it to original fic is a good way to test the waters. Not only of crafting an original fic, with original characters, but then also shopping a story around for publishing.

The Uni fic would lend itself well to an original retelling, but that's just my opinion. ::winks::
